A Chinese man was injured after being shot by his compatriot inside the Prime Luck Casino in Binondo, Manila in the early hours of June 17, 2025. The victim was identified as Guihua I Fan, 56 years old, a resident of Sevilla St., Caloocan City.
According to the investigation, when the victim entered the casino at the corner of Sabino Padilla and Ongpin, he immediately approached the suspect alias "Mr. Lee" and slapped him. This led to a fight, until the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the stomach.
When the Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) personnel arrived, the suspect was no longer in the area. authorities are still searching for him.
The victim was immediately taken to the Metropolitan Hospital for treatment.
The police are continuing their investigation to determine the true motive of the incident.
