SEGA's favorite ninja is back! From September 6 to 8, a special Gaming Lounge will open in SoHo, New York where fans can try out the new game SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. It's free and open to the public and will be held in the lower level space of 147 Grand Street.
The experience will be unique as it is not just a simple game launch but an immersive setup. Artwork from the new Shinobi and classic versions will be on display, while game stations with PS5 and Genesis Mini will be available. You can also play the classic Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master (1993) to see the difference between then and now. There will be limited Anti Social Social Club x Shinobi merch and free posters for attendees.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, developed by Lizardcube and published by SEGA, is a side-scrolling action-platformer. Joe Musashi returns with his katana, shuriken,, and Ninpo to take on Lord Ruse. It includes modern features such as skill trees, exploratory levels,, and scalable difficulty. It combines classic style with polished gameplay for a new generation.
Shinobi has been a part of gaming history for nearly 40 years, from arcades to consoles. Now, the iconic ninja will be back in action on his latest mission. The event will be open from Saturday, September 6 (11AM–8PM), Sunday, September 7 (11AM–6PM), and Monday, September 8 (11AM–7PM).
