The Bureau of Customs (BOC) conducted a raid on the home of the Discaya family in Pasig City on September 2, 2025. The search warrant targeted 12 luxury cars, but they only found two—a Land Cruiser and a Maserati.
According to BOC Chief of Staff Jek Casipit, they tried to serve a search warrant twice on Monday night but were not allowed in. They were only allowed into the compound the next day.
During the investigation by Senate Blue Ribbon, Sarah Discaya admitted that she owns 28 luxury cars, while her husband Curlee Discaya said that they own 40 luxury cars. The warrant covers vehicles such as Cadillac Esplanade, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia and Lincoln Navigator that allegedly have no import records with the BOC.
The BOC explained that if the Discaya family can present documents proving that the taxes and duties on the vehicles have been paid, they will not be confiscated. However, if they do not have them, they have 15 days to submit the paperwork.
The BOC has also coordinated with the PNP-Highway Patrol Group to locate the family's other luxury cars. The value of these vehicles could potentially reach hundreds of millions of pesos.
