The body of a man was found in a hotel in Cubao, Quezon City on Thursday night, August 28, 2025. According to the police, the victim was bloody and had his hands and feet bound when he was discovered around 8 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that the man, estimated to be 30 to 35 years old, had checked in on Wednesday night. The next day, when it was time to check out, staff knocked on the door but there was no answer. Using the master key, the door was opened and the body was found near the bathroom.
According to Police Lieutenant Jaevon Ulysses Marigondon of the Cubao Police, items were scattered in the room and drug paraphernalia was found on the bed. Investigations are ongoing to determine who was responsible for the crime and CCTV footage in the area is also being reviewed.
At 1:48 a.m. on August 29, the victim's remains were taken to the funeral home for a possible autopsy. Police promised to ensure justice for the incident.
