According to the victim's relatives, he was riding a motorcycle driven by a friend, while another companion was riding along, making three of them on the motorcycle. The driver allegedly lost control, causing the motorcycle to overturn, according to the initial investigation by the barangay.
Barangay Dolores immediately responded and rushed the victim to the hospital, but he later died. His motorcycle companions sustained injuries.
According to the family, the victim's parents reached a settlement with the motorcycle driver and promised to pay for the young man's hill and burial.
