CAVITEX will increase toll rates starting October 28, 2025, after the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) approves the new rates. The increase is intended to support improvement and maintenance projects on the expressway.
For the R1 Portion (Seaside to Zapote), the new toll is:
Class 1: ₱35 will become ₱39
Class 2: ₱70 will become ₱78
Class 3: ₱104 will become ₱117
As for the R1 Extension (Zapote to Kawit), the increase will be divided into two phases—2025 and 2026—so that motorists are not surprised:
Class 1: ₱73 will become ₱88
Class 2: ₱146 will become ₱176
Class 3: ₱219 will become ₱264
To minimize the impact on drivers, CAVITEX Infrastructure Corp. will relaunch the “Abante Program”, where PUVs and agricultural trucks can still pay the old toll rates within 90 days from the start of the increase.
According to the company, the surcharge will be used to fund infrastructure projects such as expansion joint replacement, pavement rehabilitation, and RFID system upgrades. The goal is to keep motorists' daily journeys safe, fast, and smooth.
