A man who sold abortion pills and rape drugs online was arrested after an entrapment operation by the NBI in Pasay City on August 13.
According to the NBI, the suspect known by the aliases “Jonathan” or “Tan” was caught for violating laws such as the FDA Law, Cybercrime Prevention Act, Pharmacy Act, and Consumers Act.
The operation began after a tip from an informant who said the suspect was selling drugs without a Certificate of Registration (COR), PRC License, and FDA Permit.
A customer purchased ₱40,500 worth of abortion pills and rape drugs. When the rider arrived to deliver, he pointed to the warehouse where the balance would be collected.
It was there that the suspect received the money from an undercover agent, leading to his immediate arrest.
