Couple and YouTubers Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans were killed in an off-road accident on August 7, 2025 in the mountains of British Columbia.
According to Stacey's mother, Colleen Tourout, they both died after suffering serious injuries. In her statement, she said it was a huge blow to their family and called their story an amazing love story that ended with them together.
Based on the investigation, their vehicle allegedly lost control on the steep and rocky road. It fell approximately 200 meters, rolling several times before coming to rest at the bottom. Another vehicle following them came to their aid and immediately called for help.
Stacey and Matthew's Toyota World Runners channel has over 204,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 77,000 followers on Instagram. They are famous for making videos about exploring mountains, forests, and canyons, inspiring their viewers.
