Pop Superstar Sarah Geronimo and P-pop Kings SB19 will be teaming up for a special song titled “Umaaligid.” Sarah shared the exciting news on her official social media, where she said the song will be released on July 30, 2025. She also released a teaser with a line from the song: “Carved in the ear, inserted in the mind. Growing, intensifying. But when did it become true?”
In the past week, Sarah's cryptic posts have thrilled her fans. Many suspected that she would be releasing new music. But the announcement of her collab with SB19 was the big surprise for everyone. This is the first time that two big names in OPM will be collaborating on a song.
“Umaaligid” is Sarah’s latest project after her 2024 single “Life’s A Beautiful Game.” It can also be recalled that she released several collabs in 2023 such as “Treading Water” with Bamboo, “Hangganan” with Jin Chan, and “My Mind” with data-end="1303">Billy Crawford.
Recently, Sarah was also the guest of honor at Billboard Philippines’ Women In Music event where she awarded girl group BINI as ‘Women of the Year.’ Last year, she herself received the same award.
