Fifteen Eleven Design has released a new version of the classic Porsche 914, transformed into a motorsport-grade restomod with powerful performance. The once simple mid-engine Targa now features carbon fiber bodywork and modern technology.
Buyers have the option of a 3.8L or race-prepped 4L flat-six engine capable of up to 400 hp. It comes complete with forged pistons, tough steel internals and Life Racing electronics. The power is sent through a 6-speed manual gearbox that provides a true driving experience.
For the suspension, there are three-way adjustable Reiger coilovers common to WRC rally cars. This includes a new chassis design with T45 tubular reinforcements and Brembo brakes for extreme braking on the track.
On the outside, inspiration from Porsche's motorsport history can be seen—with Moby Dick-style lights, a large ducktail spoiler, and custom 18-inch Fikse Fuchs wheels. Inside, there's a leather and Alcantara interior, race bucket seats, and more legroom.
It is limited to 50 units, but one-off special projects may be possible depending on the customer. This new Porsche 914 is now open for test drives in the US and Europe.
