19-year-old college student Jemarie Misajon was brutally murdered in a creek in Roxas, Palawan. Her body was found lifeless and with severe injuries on May 23, 2025. This caused great sadness and shock in her barangay, so the police immediately launched an investigation.
According to investigators, there were signs of violence on Jemarie's body, such as a fractured skull and a dislocated jaw. It is possible that she was raped before being killed, given the severe injuries found on her. Jemarie left the house to wash clothes in the stream, a routine activity she often did....
Due to this incident, the barangay captain and local officials are helping to support Jemarie's family and quickly find the perpetrators. The police are continuing their investigation to achieve justice for the young student and provide peace to their community.
