
The 43-year-old man was caught in a buy-bust operation by the Antipolo Police and PDEA in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City on the early morning of May 28, 2025. He was caught after selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a police officer posing as a buyer, in exchange for P3,000.
According to the investigation, the supply of Metro Manila for the illegal drugs he sells in Antipolo and neighboring towns came from Metro Manila. The PNP report also revealed that he has been imprisoned twice — in 2019 and 2022, but was released under probation.
Seized from the man were five sachets of shabu weighing more than 300 grams and estimated to be worth more than P2 million. The seized drugs will be brought to the Rizal Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
The suspect said he was just eating at the place when the operation took place. “We were just eating at the place when I was with him. I will explain in court,” he said.
He is now in the custody of the Antipolo Police and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
