A All Nippon Airways (ANA) plane en route to Texas, USA from Tokyo, Japan was forced to land in Seattle after a passenger went missing in mid-air on Saturday.
The passenger was forced to open the plane door while in the air, so the pilot immediately decided to divert the route for everyone's safety.
During the investigation, it appeared that the passenger had a medical emergency. So after it was brought down, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
There has been no final decision yet on whether the passenger will be charged. Authorities and the airline are still investigating whether they are liable.
ANA thanked local police in Seattle for their assistance and said the safety of passengers and crew was their priority.
