The extremely rare 2011 Ferrari SA Aperta with its unique Grigio Silverstone exterior and Cioccolato interior is currently up for auction at RM Sotheby’s. It is the only US-spec unit known to have this color combination.
A tribute to Pininfarina's 80th anniversary, only 80 units were built of this model. Powered by a 661 hp 6L V12 engine and six-speed F1 Superfast transmission, it can reach 0–100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h.
Based on the Ferrari 599 GTO, it has special features such as recalibrated dampers, lower ride height, and aerodynamic roll hoops. It also has silver windshield pillars, Alcantara carpets, and Schedoni luggage as rare factory options.
It has only 3,350 miles, and was recently serviced by Ferrari of Palm Beach. It is estimated to fetch $1.6 million to $2 million USD at auction.
Bidding is open tomorrow on RM Sotheby’s Sealed auction platform for collectors looking to acquire an ultra-rare Ferrari SA Aperta.
