A family in Malolos, Bulacan lost four members to a fire that broke out in their house early this morning. Four including Philip (49), Maricel (49), Felice (18), and Julienne (10) Caluag died in the incident.
A 15-year-old Seth Caluag was injured and brought to the hospital for treatment. According to authorities, the victims were probably sleeping when the fire started at around 3:40 a.m. in Sitio Langgam, Barangay Bulihan.
Firefighters extinguished the fire at around 4:18 a.m., but it is still unclear how the fire started. Investigations are ongoing to determine its cause.
