The two female students, Emmy and Cristy, both 18 years old, were caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. An estimated 792 grams of shabu worth approximately P5.38 million were seized from them.
According to Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin of the NCRPO, the operation was conducted after receiving a report that the house on Esguerra Street was being used as a center for illegal drug sales.
The Eastern Police District did not disclose the students' schools. Both are now facing charges of drug trafficking.
Investigations are ongoing to see if there are others involved in the illegal drug operation in the area. The public is also reminded to cooperate with authorities to curb the drug problem.
