The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Lower Merion Aces (Away)” is expected to return in Spring 2026! According to sneaker insiders, it is possible that the classic colorway that first appeared in 2010 as a tribute to Kobe Bryant and his high school team, the Lower Merion Aces, will be re-released.
Metallic Silver and Team Red are still the expected colors for the new version. Silver will be the base of the shoe while red will be on the Swooshes, laces, lining, and Sheath logo on the tongue. This is also the look of the original pair worn by Montrezl Harrell.
Although there is no official announcement from Nike Basketball yet, there is a high possibility that it will be released on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for a price of approximately $190 USD.
This is one of the highly anticipated Protro releases in the lineup of Kobe sneakers that continue to be favorites of fans and NBA stars like Jalen Brunson and Caitlin Clark.
