A 78-year-old man died while another man was injured after a house caught fire on Kaunlaran Street, Barangay Muzon, Malabon this Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report by the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire reached the first alarm, prompting 8 fire trucks to immediately respond to the area. The fire was extinguished at around 1:22 p.m..
The injured man was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries to his arm and leg. The origin of the fire and the total damage have not yet been determined.
According to authorities, three families lost their homes due to the fire. They are now asking for help such as clothes and food.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine the cause of the fire.
