GMC has unveiled the new 2026 HUMMER EV that is faster and more capable off-road. It features a new King Crab rear-steer mode on all 2X and 3X models, making it easier to turn, especially on rough roads. This feature will also be available on 2022–2025 HUMMER EVs via an online update.
At the same time, the Carbon Fiber Edition, GMC's fastest HUMMER EV, is launched. It can reach 0–60 mph in 2.8 seconds and features exclusive styling such as matte Magnus Gray paint, black carbon fiber wheels, and a Velocity Ember interior.
There are also new tech updates, such as bidirectional charging for vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home, improved Super Cruise with Google Maps, and a large 13.4-inch infotainment screen with Google Built-In. Also new are two new colors — Coastal Dune and Auburn Matte — and new interior themes.
