Malasakit Centers aim to help low-income Filipinos with their medical and financial expenses. They integrate the services of DOH, DSWD, PhilHealth, and PCSO to make it easier to get help in one place. This eliminates the need to leave the hospital to seek assistance from various government agencies.

To get help, just go to the nearest Malasakit Center at the government hospital. You will need to fill out forms and submit some documents such as a medical certificate, certificate of indigency, and hospital bill. Social workers and agencies will check what help you are eligible for, such as free medicine, laboratory tests, or hospital fees.

Malasakit Centers have helped many since it was implemented in 2019. Like Grekko Dequina and Joerisa Pantaleon, who no longer had to pay a lot of money to the hospital because of the program's help. Malasakit Centers' funding comes from the government, so it is the right of every Filipino to use it without shame.
