The group stage games will begin in November of the year. The FIBA World Cup 2027 will be held in Doha, Qatar. It is important for Gilas to make it to the Top 3 of their group to qualify for the second round of the qualifiers.
Each team in Group A will face each other twice, so Gilas needs to win against Guam and other opponents. The Top 3 teams from Group A will join the qualifiers from Group C, along with Iran, Syria, and Jordan.
