The engineer couple were among at least 10 people who died in a road accident near the SCTEX Exit toll gate in Tarlac City on Thursday.
According to Roxanne Alinas, the couple's sister-in-law, they are from Bulacan and were traveling in an SUV with their two-year-old son. They were heading to Baguio for a vacation.
The family was shocked to hear the news, but they were very grateful that the child survived even though the car was badly damaged.
The family hopes that someone will be held responsible for the incident. "I hope that whoever is responsible will be held accountable. Because you think we were just on vacation, we were having fun last night, and now this," said Alinas.
