When you search online for "how to know if you're in love," you'll probably end up in a mess.
Why? Because most of the advice that comes up is just nonsense.
"You're always thinking about him."
– This, that's just infatuation.
If you're always thinking about him, you might be forgetting other important things in your life.
True love is not an obstacle to life, but just a part of it. It's quiet, not chaotic.
"You're always looking for him."
– Just like above.
Love is not measured by you can't stand not being with him. Maybe that's obsession, not love.
"He is 'everything' to you."
– This is a bit dangerous.
Your world shouldn't revolve around just one person. You should have your own life too.
"He is with you in your future."
– Any person, can be placed in your imagination.
For example, if you think every day that you will become a goat farmer in Switzerland, you might eventually believe it. The same is true if you repeatedly imagine that he is with you while you take care of the dog in your new house.
True love is not always explosive or thrilling.
It is the one with calm, respect, and care — even without fireworks.
