The Filipina trans woman Keylyn Trajano has been crowned as Universal Woman Arabia 2025. This was shared on social media by the pageant's national director, Rev Reyes, along with an official photo of Keylyn wearing her new crown.
Trajano also posted videos showing his crowning moment. The crown was presented to him by former titleholder Maria Gigante, also a Filipina.
Last year, Keylyn Trajano became a hot topic of conversation when she was introduced as a candidate for Miss Universe Philippines Pampanga 2025. She was supposed to be the first trans woman to participate in the national pageant, but she later withdrew from the competition.
Her victory today is a milestone for the LGBTQ+ community and a proud moment for Filipinos in international pageants.
