A new collection of Sanrio characters is coming this November 2025! It's called "Sanrio Tempura Gachapon", a cute capsule toy set that features favorite Sanrio characters as delicious tempura dishes.
There are five designs to collect, each with a special “tempura ingredient.” These include Hello Kitty as fried shrimp, My Melody as fried sweet potato, Cinnamoroll with fried chikuwa, Hangyodon with chili tempura, and Pompompurin as fried mushroom.
Each figurine is 3.8 to 4.5 cm tall, and each capsule is priced at ¥300 (approximately ₱110). The paint and design are detailed enough to look like real tempura while still showing the cute features of each Sanrio character.
