The issue of Manny Pacquiao's next fight continues to be discussed, and one of the options is a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
According to the boxing icon, he will be working again with his former promoter and advisor for the fight on January 24, 2026. This includes Michael Koncz and former promoter Bob Arum.
"We still have a lot of fights under discussion. Possibly a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., with Vasyl Lomachenko, or another boxer. We will wait for the final decision," Pacquiao said.
If he chooses, he would like to have a rematch with the retired American boxer. “I would like to have a fight with Floyd Mayweather and hopefully our negotiations will go well,” he added.
The fight is targeted for the first quarter of 2026, but no venue has been set yet. Pacquiao's last fight was in July against Mario Barrios, which ended in a majority draw.
