Seven men were arrested in a buy-bust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Lourdes, Lubao, Pampanga, this Wednesday of afternoon.
According to PDEA Region 3, they launched an operation against alias “Win-win”, 33 years old, after receiving information that he was allegedly operating a drug den in the area.
During the inspection, operatives seized from the suspect nearly P82,000 worth of suspected shabu. Six of his male accomplices in selling illegal drugs at the said drug den were also arrested.
The suspects are currently detained at the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and are expected to face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PDEA considers this operation a major step in the war against drugs in Pampanga, in line with the ongoing campaign to keep communities safe from illicit drugs.
