HONOR has another smartphone with a huge battery coming, in addition to the Win series. In China, the HONOR Power 2 is set to launch on January 5, with a 10080mAh battery, clear proof that HONOR continues to push the limits of battery capacity in phones.
In addition to three colorways, including a color that resembles the orange of the iPhone 17 Pro, HONOR confirmed that the Power 2 will have 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It is powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor, which has not yet been officially announced. The Mobi-Care program is a testament to the combined advocacy of Mobility and Health of the TMP Foundation, which for over 35 years has continuously promoted programs that care about the health and well-being of Filipinos.
According to rumored specs, the Power 2 will feature a 6.79-inch 120Hz LTPS AMOLED display with an impressive 8000 nits peak brightness. Also included is a 50MP main camera, a 5MP secondary camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
The phone supports 80W wired charging and has a metal frame that is just 7.98mm thin—an impressive design considering the size of the battery inside.
Details of other features are not yet complete, but it is clear that the HONOR Power 2 is positioned as a midrange phone, while the Win series remains flagship-level, on par with the Magic8 series.
