BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that BTS will release their first album as a group in nearly four years on March 20, 2026, after all seven members complete their mandatory military service.
The comeback date was first shared through handwritten New Year letters to members of the Weverse fan-club, with personal messages of gratitude from the members and the date “2026.03.20” printed alongside the new logo.
BTS is reportedly working on new music and preparing for their "biggest tour" in 2026. Although there are reports that there will be 65 dates on the world tour, BIGHIT clarified that the exact details and size of the tour have not yet been confirmed.
All BTS members began their military service from December 2022 to December 2023 and completed it in June 2025.
