The boyfriend, Mark Arjay Reyes, 31, firmly denied the accusations that his girlfriend, Sherra De Juan, 30, ran away just days before their wedding in Quezon City.
Mark and Sherra have been in a relationship for almost ten years and got together in 2020. According to Mark, their relationship is strong and healthy and decided about the wedding that has been planned for a long time.
Sherra went missing on December 10 after saying she was just going to buy shoes at a mall. Since then, the family has been filled with fear and sadness.
Mark also denied comments on social media that Sherra avoided the wedding. He said, there is no other man and there are no major problems in their marriage.
Mark and Sherra's mother, Aunt De Juan, called on the public to be sensitive, stop fake news, and help in the search. They prayed for Sherra's safe return.
