First Lady Liza Marcos and Sen. Imee Marcos have denied that they said anything insulting to each other. Liza took to Facebook to denounce as “fake news” the quote card that allegedly claimed she mentioned Imee’s cosmetic procedures.
Meanwhile, Sen. Marcos also denied a quote card that commented on the First Lady's body. Earlier this week, the senator accused the family of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of drug use, allegedly including the First Lady.

According to Akbayan Rep. Percival Cendaña and Kamanggagawa Rep. Elijah San Fernando, the Marcos family feud is distracting from the country's real problems. They emphasized that while the family is fighting, the people's issues such as the flood control scandal and corruption are left behind.

House Deputy Majority Leader Jose “Bong” Teves Jr. showed support for Rep. Marcos, saying that leaders should demonstrate professionalism and not make baseless accusations.
In Malacañang, Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said that President Marcos Jr.'s resignation is not an option and that he will continue to work for the country, while those hoping to replace him are "just noise."
