Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) continues to cross the Visayas while another storm has formed outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to PAGASA on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Signal No. 4 remains raised over parts of the Visayas due to strong winds that could cause severe damage to life and property. According to PAGASA, Tino will continue to pass through Western Visayas and northern Palawan before exiting the country on Thursday, November 6.
Although weakening, Tino will remain in the typhoon category. Meanwhile, a low-pressure area outside the PAR has become a tropical depression, and weather experts continue to monitor it.
PAGASA also warned of heavy rains in the provinces of Palawan, Negros Occidental, Antique, Aklan, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Capiz that could reach more than 200 millimeters. Cebu, Bohol, Mindoro, Siquijor, and Romblon could also experience rains of 100 to 200 millimeters.
There is also a threat of storm surge that may reach 3 meters in low-lying areas of Masbate, Romblon, Mindoro, Palawan, Visayas Region, Dinagat Islands, and Camiguin. Fishermen and residents along the coast are advised to avoid the sea due to large waves reaching up to 6 meters.
