Apple and Formula 1 have signed a five-year exclusive streaming deal in the U.S. worth nearly ₱44 billion (equivalent to $750 million). It will begin in the 2026 season and all Grand Prix, practice and qualifying will be available exclusively on Apple TV.
The Apple TV subscription includes all F1 content at no extra cost. It will also include the features of F1 TV Premium for a more complete and modern viewing experience.
Following the success of F1: The Movie, Apple has strengthened this partnership to further grow the Formula 1 audience in the United States. The goal is to attract a younger, more affluent, and more tech-savvy audience.
According to Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and Apple executive Eddy Cue, their vision is to bring a broader and more interactive experience. Apple also plans to use its other services such as Apple News, Apple Maps, and Apple Fitness+ to promote F1.
By moving from traditional TV to exclusive streaming, this is a big step for Apple that could potentially change the way Formula 1 is watched in the U.S.
