HBO Max has increased the prices of all its subscription plans in the Philippines, effective October 2025. The Mobile plan has increased from ₱149 per month to ₱169, the Standard plan from ₱269 to ₱299, and the Premium plan from ₱399 to ₱449 per month. The prices are in line with the new Digital Service Tax imposed on digital services in the country.
The Mobile plan allows streaming on one mobile device only, in standard HD resolution, and comes with 15 downloads for offline viewing. The Standard plan can be used on two devices, has full HD resolution, and 30 downloads. While the Premium plan has the ability to stream on four devices, 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos support, and 100 downloads for offline viewing.
The new prices are effective immediately for new subscribers. For existing subscribers, the changes will begin with their next billing cycle after November 20, 2025. This move is part of HBO Max's effort to maintain the quality of its content and service in the face of rising costs in the streaming industry.
