The final episode of the Filipino adaptation of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay brought mixed emotions of sadness and joy to viewers. The series inspired and brought hope and healing not only to fans but also to the cast itself.
The healing trio — Anne Curtis as Mia, Joshua Garcia as Patrick, and Carlo Aquino as Matthew — shared their gratitude. According to Anne, each character was meaningful and taught everyone a lesson. Joshua admitted that it was hard to let go of his character. Carlo is happy because he has a new “family and foundation” on the show even though it is hard to say goodbye.
The cast also thanked the directors, crew, and staff. According to Carlo, even though the taping was difficult, a strong bonding was still formed. Joshua will never forget their videoke nights. Anne added that she will miss everyone who was a part of this journey.
In their final message, they wholeheartedly thanked their fans. “We love you,” said Joshua. “Thank you,” added Carlo. While Anne left a message: “We hope we gave you the same feels as the original. And remember, It’s okay to not be okay.”
