Thousands of Bulacan State University (BulSU) students gathered again on September 30, 2025 at Heroes’ Park to express their frustration over flood control anomalies and corruption.
It was led by the BulSU Student Government and the Office of the Student Regent under the theme “Kick Back Kontra Korap.” From Heroes’ Park, the students marched to Malolos City Hall.
According to BulSU Student Government President and Student Regent Roshan Reyes, the scholars of the people just want their call to be heard for a government that is honest, transparent, and free from corruption.
Reyes added that it is not enough to simply release the investigation to the public. He said that there needs to be accountability for those involved in the anomaly. “It cannot just be a narrative, someone must be held accountable,” he said.
He also emphasized that corruption is not only stealing from the people but also from the future of the youth who are the next hope of the nation.
