Renowned game creator Hideo Kojima has announced a new horror game titled OD, with director Jordan Peele. The cast includes Sophia Lillis, Udo Kier, and Hunter Schafer.
The three-minute teaser shows Sophia Lillis entering a room, lighting a strange candle, and hearing a loud knocking sound. At the end, a mysterious presence suddenly grabs her before the title OD and the word KNOCK appear — a reference to Kojima's personal fear of loud knocks.
Created using Unreal Engine 5 and MetaHuman tools, the game aims to showcase photorealistic visuals and unique gameplay that feels like a mix of games and movies. Many have compared it to Kojima's canceled viral project P.T., known for his unique style of interactive horror.
Kojima collaborated with Jordan Peele to make the experience more immersive and cinematic. No release date has been announced for the new game.
