A man was caught after allegedly stealing a passenger's luggage at the Davao International Airport on Monday.
The victim asked for help from airport police and airline staff, who immediately spotted the suspect while walking around the terminal building.
The suspect pretended to be a passenger but was unable to produce any ticket or boarding pass, according to a report by the PNP-Aviation Security Group.
The suitcase that was previously reported lost at the check-in counter was recovered from him.
The man was charged with trespassing and theft, and could face fines and jail time.
