The body of a dead baby was found floating in a river in Barangay San Vicente, Angono, Rizal on Wednesday afternoon, July 30.
According to the report, a concerned citizen reported to the barangay about the baby he saw. Personnel from the Barangay Public Safety Office (BPSO) immediately responded and found the baby boy, who is estimated to be five months old. There were scratches on his neck and it is believed that he had been submerged in water for two days.
There have been no reports of missing children in the area. The investigation will continue and SOCO personnel have already taken the baby's remains for autopsy. They are also investigating if there are any related reports from nearby barangays such as Binangonan or Cainta.
