Dangbei continues to make waves in the projector market, after launching the first Netflix-licensed 4K laser projector last year. Now, they've introduced the Dangbei N2 Mini—a portable projector that's small in size but packed with features, providing a more affordable option for users.
The Dangbei N2 Mini is one of the brand's smallest projectors, weighing in at just 3.8 pounds and measuring 9.5 inches tall. Despite its compact size, it packs advanced features like AI-powered InstanPro technology that are usually found in Dangbei's more expensive models.
One of the big differences with the N2 Mini is that it uses a Linux-based OS instead of Android TV. This was done to avoid Google's high licensing fees and keep the price affordable. Even so, it has built-in apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube, which are easily accessed using dedicated buttons on the remote. There are also over 300 apps that can be downloaded.
This projector has an adjustable stand with 190° tilt for ceiling projection. It delivers native 1080p visuals from 40 to 120 inches and has 200 lumens brightness—perfect for nighttime or dimly lit rooms. It has auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, and image resizing for a clear viewing experience.
For connectivity, there's Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6, along with HDMI, USB-A 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There are built-in 6W speakers and support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus. The Dangbei N2 Mini is available now for £199 GBP / $229 USD / €279 EUR.
