
Comedian Bayani Casimiro Jr., who rose to fame in the sitcom Okay Ka, Fairy Ko in the late 1980s, has passed away at the age of 57. His sister Marilou confirmed this to PEP.ph.
Casimiro, who was born as Arnulfo Casimiro on August 15, 1967, became known as Principe K in the said show, where he was joined by Vic Sotto, Tweetie de Leon, Ruby Rodriguez, and Alice Dixson. His father, Bayani Casimiro Sr., is known as the “Fred Astaire of the Philippines” because of his talent in dancing and acting.
After his father passed away in 1989, Casimiro Jr. took over the role of Prince K and reprised it in the film Okay Ka, Fairy Ko! Part 2 in 1992. He also appeared in other films with Vic Sotto and was part of the Enteng Kabisote film series from 2004 to 2010.
In addition, she appeared in the films Bakit Ka Ganyan?, Asboobs, Fantastic Man, Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After, and several TV shows such as Kristine and Juanita Banana. She eventually left showbiz and worked as a graphic designer.
According to Marilou, Casimiro's grave is currently at the St. Peter Memorial Chapel in Parañaque. He was cremated and will be buried at the Loyola Memorial Park this July 30.
