Another child who was swept away in Rizal was found on Tuesday, July 22, at Dike Lakeshore, Barangay San Isidro, Tanay, Rizal. According to the report, a fisherman saw the body floating in the lake and immediately reported it to the authorities.
The person who saw the body was identified as Gerald Dela Cruz, 38, who was fishing at the time. He immediately reported it to the 3rd MP Rizal Mobile Force Company led by P/Captain Manuel Padlan. The body was recovered and brought to the Parola of Barangay San Isidro. The victim is estimated to be between the ages of 7 to 12 and no one has claimed the body yet.
On Monday, July 23, the 11-year-old child who was swept away on July 19 in Morong, Rizal was first found. According to the investigation, they were on the edge of a bridge when a strong current suddenly swept away the two. The 10-year-old sibling witnessed this but was afraid to speak up so they did not immediately report it.
