A 19-year-old woman was arrested in Davao City after she allegedly attempted to rob the taxi driver she was riding in. This happened in Dumanlas, Barangay Buhangin Proper on Wednesday, July 16.
According to the investigation, the suspect, Jaysa, boarded a taxi from Toril terminal to Southern Philippines Medical Center. But upon arriving at San Gabriel Street, near his destination, he declared a holdup.
The woman allegedly pointed a knife at the driver's waist. In fear, the taxi driver stopped and asked for help from residents in the area.
Because of this, the suspect was immediately caught by the police. The knife used was recovered from him. He will face a case of robbery with intimidation.
