Hot Wheels is going back in time for SDCC 2025 in celebration of Back to the Future’s 40th anniversary. They’ll be releasing a special 1:64 collector set featuring the first die-cast version of Doc Brown’s GMC Value Van and updated Time Machine.
The set comes in movie-style packaging that resembles a scene from Twin Pines Mall. The ramp slides out, just like the test scene in the 1985 film. Both vehicles come with Real Riders wheels for a more realistic look.
The packaging is a movie-inspired fold-out diorama with an interactive box. It features authentic movie graphics that fans are sure to love.
It will be sold for $32 USD starting July 24, 2025, and will only be available at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). It is limited to two pieces per customer.
