Former NBA 6th Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson will move to the New York Knicks after agreeing to a buyout with the Utah Jazz. He is expected to sign a contract with the Knicks once the deal is finalized. Clarkson has been with the Jazz since 2019 when he was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Last season, Clarkson averaged 16.2 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 37 games. The Utah Jazz were the bottom team in the Western Conference after winning just 17 games out of 82.
In his move to the Knicks, he will be joined by star guard Jalen Brunson, big man Karl Anthony Towns, and forwards OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. They are the ones who pushed the Knicks to the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals.
Clarkson could be a big help as a former 6th Man awardee on the Knicks bench and add offense to the team.
