A police chief was caught by his wife inside a hotel in Tayabas City, Quezon, with a woman. According to the report, the wife, who is a teacher, saw obscene images on Messenger that the woman allegedly sent to her husband, causing her severe stress and depression.
Around 3:30 a.m., the 42-year-old victim went to the Tayabas City Police Station to file a complaint. She said she was caught in the act inside the Roadside Hotel in Brgy. Waka, her 41-year-old husband and his girlfriend – both naked.
There was allegedly a commotion at the hotel, but the two immediately escaped using their vehicle to Lucena City. He was unable to catch up with the lovers.
Because of this, the wife filed a case against her husband under Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
Police operations are continuing in Tayabas to arrest the officer involved in the incident.
