A 63-year-old man who was an employee of Kamara died after he was shot at his son's birthday party. The incident occurred in a subdivision in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City this Sunday afternoon, June 15, 2025.
The Batasan Police Station confirmed the incident. According to initial reports, while the celebration was taking place, an unidentified suspect approached and suddenly fired a gun.
The victim was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. Investigations are ongoing to determine the identity of the suspect and the motive for the crime.
The incident shocked those who attended the party, especially since it was supposed to be a happy gathering for the victim's son. Several officials from the House have also expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased.
