The tragedy on Osmeña Street in Cebu City left two motorcycle riders dead after they collided on Sunday morning. According to CCTV footage, one rider turned left alongside an SUV, while a speeding big bike was approaching from the other lane.
According to the police investigation, both riders were at fault. The one who made the left turn violated the traffic law by making an illegal turn, while the big bike was overspeeding. Due to the force of the impact, both riders were immediately taken to the hospital but later died.
