19-year-old model and influencer Tijana Radonjic has died after falling from a 50-meter cliff into the Adriatic Sea while filming a promotional video for a local tourist agency in Budva, Montenegro.
According to witnesses, Tijana was happy and relaxed before the trip, but halfway through the parasailing, she began to show signs of distress. She was heard shouting “Put me down! Put me down!” and “Help me,” before she fell. There was speculation that she had a panic attack, but her loved ones did not believe it was suicide.
Mirko Krdzic, owner of the parasailing company, said they were shocked by what happened. He said he had been working for a long time and all his previous trips were safe. The investigation is ongoing and the results of the technical inspection of the equipment and the autopsy are awaited.
Despite the tragedy, it is believed that he had no fear of heights or flying before the incident, and he still seemed happy to wave to his friends on the beach.
