James Reid and TJ Monterde's new collab "Pahinga" is a folk-pop ballad full of emotion. It was announced today, June 2, 2025, and will be released on June 6. It's about a moment of rest in the midst of conflict—not to give up, but to protect love.
James said he had wanted to work with TJ for a long time. When they entered the studio, their energy and style were perfect. “I immediately thought of TJ. His voice is amazing and I could feel the emotion,” James said.
TJ, on the other hand, loved the song immediately upon first listening. He said, “It was as if I was the one who wrote it! The message was clear: ‘Just a minute, I’m just feeling high right now. But after this, I still love you.’”
This follows TJ's collab with 10CM, a Korean singer-songwriter. Meanwhile, James recently released “Love The Chase”, the official song for Miss Universe 2025.
